Students can improve their Irish through an immersive Gaeltacht experience. Emphasis is placed on the spoken language, grammar, and The Fillteán Foghlama. 

Students also experience a taste of the vast array of history, heritage, culture, literature and traditions in the Déise Gaeltacht.

We provide inspiring classes delivered with enthusiasm and creativity by teachers committed to passing on the richness of the Irish language and culture.

Evening events

Workshops, guest speakers, cultural experiences, and more are organized in the evening throughout the course. Activities include tours such as Waterford’s renowned Greenway, exploring the Waterford Gaeltacht or delving into Early Christian Ireland in the seaside village of Ardmore. At night there’s music, song and dance on campus and in the pubs of Gaeltacht na nDéise.
